Summer Excursion UPDATED

 There is still time for SAQA people to RSVP…….until June 28th
 
Two slight changes to the schedule:
 
1) luncheon will begin at 11:30 at the River City Grill
2) meeting will now be at the Main Gallery of the Punta Gorda Visual Arts Center,  (the Visual Arts Center, VAC, is a kool opportunity …. plus there will be an exhibit in the room) and the meeting will run from 1:00 to 3:00
The VAC is only one mile from the restaurant and the address is: 210 Maud Street, (directly across from Fisherman’s Village)
3)  after the meeting, anyone who wishes can go to the Mid County Library where my exhibit will be.

Mary McBride, Lisa Gorski, and Patricia Turner are planning a two day summer get-together in Punta Gorda featuring a Southern Regional Meeting for SAQA membership; guests welcome.

Also, Patricia has her work on display through Art in Public Places at the Mid-County Library in Port Charlotte from July 1 through August 30 and she is inviting all of us to share in her excitement.

Thursday, July 15

5 PM:   Jack’s Restaurant in Punta Gorda can accommodate us in a separate section. Early bird specials are $10.95 per person for a full meal and dessert.  (Please RSVP so we have enough room for everyone.)

5 – 8 PM:   Punta Gorda Gallery Walk is in same area.

Friday, July 16

NEW: a luncheon at 12:00 (prior to the meeting) at the River City Grill per (request of AQU members).   It will be a limited menu of 3 items for 10.95 to include beverage and sides.

 2 PM :   SAQA Meeting  Mid-County Regional Library, 2050 Forrest Nelson Blvd., Port Charlotte, FL 33952 (941-613-3160). We can see Patricia’s exhibit then.  Artists are invited to bring in one of their own works to show.

6:30 PM:   Dinner – Chef Lisa cooks at Patricia’s Home

 Chef Lisa Gorski, who is also the Southern Florida Rep, will cook for us.  Prices depend on number of people but figure about $15.

 Please RSVP by June 28^th, we need to determine room sizes !
